Before I begin, these new allegations have NOTHING to do with those from 2017, these are from 2021 - 22. Andy did not learn anything except for how to hide his creepy perverse ways better, IMO.
Almost a year and a half ago I walked away from Andy Signore & Popcorned Planet when I discovered how little he cared for his community of trauma and abuse survivors. I have spoken out about him and his cohorts ever since in an attempt to save others from experiencing what I went through.
Luckily I wasn't alone. I and several others left at the same time. Very few of his audience seemed to notice that a large chunk of his mods up and vanished. Or if they did, Andy discouraged questions, dismissing us as crazy, clout-chasing, mean girls, etc. We interacted with "his" community on a daily basis. Like me, some were (or had been) on his headlines team helping to curate articles for his livestreams.
We weren't looking for accolades or compensation, we simply wanted a smidge of care and compassion, an iota of responsibility, a hint of human decency. Not for us but for his community - that his mods built, btw. This was before I fully understood what a rephensible reprobrate he was.
I did not yet know about his sex pest ways, how he foisted unwanted self-pleasuring videos on unsuspecting women. How he gathered salacious pics to share with his cohorts. That he literally stole one woman's OnlyFans content for his personal use. The idea that he recorded himself and his now wife and attempted to get others to watch makes my stomach churn.
The man uses and tosses people like soiled tissue. He taints everything he touches. His lack of self-awareness is pathological which is exacerbated by his cohorts. Very few seem to be willing to hold him accountable which is precisely why I and others speak out.
People are always going on about, "see something, say something" then, when you do, they decide the recipts & evidence aren't good enough. Calling people's recounting of their own experiences "hearsay." It is a dirty and thankless job. One that I believe it is very necessary..
Just know that everytime you defend Andy Signore, every time you attack one of his survivors, you are, at the very least, a victim blamer and, at worst, an abuse apologist, IMO.
