I'm a mod for That Surprise Witness AKA BJ - a lawyer who was big in #FreeBritney. Folks asked her to look into Bam Margera's case because there were rumors that he, too, was in a conservatorship. Finding that he was, indeed, under a guardianship in AZ, BJ ended up spearheading the #FreeBam movement.
Bam's now former guardian's name is Lima Jevremovic and BJ's research into her sucked her and her team into a seemingly never ending rabbit hole. Lima did not like this and filed a "a meritless, frivoless lawsuit," as BJ terms it, in the summer of 2022. BJ's lawyers filed for a dismissal in Dec of 2022. Just this past June, Lima's lawyers asked the judge to seal the names of the members of her company, Aura, so that BJ wouldn't actually know who was suing her. Now, I'm no lawyer, but I'm pretty sure this is unconstitutional. We're guaranteed the right to face our accusors.
The reason that I know all of this, besides the fact that BJ has freely shared it on her YT channel, is because I'm trying to help her in this court case by going through her videos and finding time stamps for a variety of reasons. But it all boils down to proof for her defense because Lima decided to file for a temporary restraining order in both NJ (where the original suit was filed) and CA. Basically Lima wants BJ to quit talking about her.
The claims of harassment that Lima makes are pretty much the same claims she made well before BJ knew who she was. And all the "private info" that she claims BJ shared were originally shared by Lima herself. It's all documented in videos on Lima's own channel and Mark Laita's Soft White Underbelly (SWU), a channel with millions of subscribers. Amongst others.
That Surprise Witness had approximately 40K subs when she first started talking about Lima. She's currently at 78K subs. In the meantime she created BJ Investigates that is sitting at 131K subs. Even combined, they do not approach the reach of SWU. And when you add in that Lima has been on Adam 22's channel No Jumper, yet again sharing her & her sisters' story to HIS millions of subs, how on earth can Lima back her claim that BJ is the source of this info?? Short answer: she can't. So she's now seeking "meritless & frivoless" restraining orders in CA & NJ, IMO.
Side note: A man who completely ticked off the #FreeBritney movement has also filed a TRO against BJ in Fulton County Georgia. This is the person that Lou Taylor used Britney's money to sue & settle for $20K. This TRO was originally denied, but Bryan demanded it be heard so Judge Manning will decide on Sep 27 2023. I've watched this judge's Zoom court so it should be a very interesting hearing. Judge Manning is very no nonsense and doesn't seem to suffer fools gladly. And this is very foolish as well as "meritless & frivoless," IMO.
Unfortunately, fighting these things is expensive and time consuming, which is why I'm trying to help in whatever small way I can. I wonder who Lima was calling on the carpet before BJ came along? Or does BJ just make the best/easiest target? Or is there something worse hidden that Lima is afraid of BJ uncovering?
