I left off with this in part 1:
And now the CPD magically has a video from before this tragedy took place even though the system supposedly overwrites data every 30 days - surprise!
Wtf do you mean "consistent with witnesses' trial testimonies?!" Nobody testified that the camera always produced inverted video. MSP sargeant Yuri Bukhenik testified on direct that the video was "true and accurate." Under cross examination he dismissed it as being a "mirror." Trooper Michael Proctor indicated he'd seen the video awhile back and refreshed himself a day or two prior to trial with a video that had an inverted time stamp. Meaning he watched the video that defense had reverted and seemed to think both versions were identical except for the time stamp on the latter video. Which also means that the original video he supposedly saw was not inverted. Does video from that camera magically flip flop itself around? Sorta like how video seems to be magically appearing since the first trial?
But it's okay, this malfunctioning camera has since been replaced, so we're all good, right? Wrong. If this is indeed the case then why wasn't it disclosed in the first trial? More on the quality of these videos later, first we need to address ATF agent Brian Higgins.
Brian Higgins was with Boston police officer John O'Keefe shortly before his death on Jan 29, 2022, along with the owner of the house on whose lawn John was later found on, now retired Boston police officer Brian Albert.
I find it very interesting that Brennan characterizes the video of Higgins as "moving his law enforcement vehicles" when the defense specifically said that he was seen on his phone. Then Brennan talks about calls between Higgins and Brian Albert - is that who Higgins was on the phone with at approximately 1:30 am? Because it sure seems like that's what Brennan is implying, doesn't it? It's unfortunate that both men made these phones disappear the day before they were served with a preservation order for said phones.
Back to the crappy quality of videos provided by the CPD.
Why is only the inverted video clear (even though it has people appearing and disappearing like ghosts) but the rest seem like they were recorded on an old VHS tape? And why is media being put into a "paper/physical case file?" Is this where the "drag and click" (Brennan's words) video came from? Did the CPD think that, since they (rightfully) recused themselves, they didn't need to properly preserve evidence? That this recusal somehow meant that they could just do whatever they wanted, like arrange for interviews with witnesses in their facility? House the alleged murder weapon yet let people just willy nilly through the sally port?
And through it all Hank Brennen seems to be trying to distance himself from the crappy parts on the investigation (which I'd argue was the whole investigation) while telling the defense that they didn't need this "evidence" and/or it would would've been inculpatory (even though the video is apparently so bad nobody can see shit). Or that the defense is somehow lying.
I've heard that Hank Brennan hates the FBI so I guess it makes a weird sort of sense that he'd also not take convos with the AG's office and the 3000+ touhey report at all seriously. Who cares if the feds say that John O'Keefe was not hit by a car nor did Karen's SUV get the damage it did by hitting a person, full stop.
To be continued...
